First university cafeteria in Japan to be named “Muslim Friendly” |

Asia Kitchen Shokujin is the first university cafeteria in Japan to receive the “Muslim Friendly Halal Certification” by NAHA (Nippon Asia Halal Association). No pork is used in the Halal dishes, dashi is used in place of soy sauce or mirin (which contain alcohol), and fried foods are cooked using vegetable oil. Halal ingredients are also stored separately and prepared and served using dishes only for Halal use. |
