The strength of the desire to change and make dreams come true is proportional to the realization of those dreams.

There are some things that are important in living in an age where there are no right answers. They are curiosity, passion, and creativity. In this course, you will learn to be sensitive to the commonplace events of everyday life, to understand why something is selling well and why it is attracting attention, and to look at it from every possible angle to unlock the factors that make it a hit. In the "Marketing Exercise," students learn that better products can be created by having more fun, loving products, and being passionate about them than anyone else, while receiving direct business design guidance from active marketers. And through this two-year effort, students will enhance their creativity and co-creation skills to create one from zero. By nature, learning is fun. In this course, you will experience the joy of being able to do and the pleasure of learning, and together we will turn your dreams into shape.

TOEIC? 660 points

Two years of continuous challenges. Practical business skills improved.

I enrolled in the school because I was attracted to the environment where students can learn marketing in a class style that involves a lot of group work. In the "Cross-border Career Education" class, in which students had to think about sales promotion measures for local products that Joetsu City in Niigata Prefecture is proud of, they experienced actual sales, and also took on the challenge of a problem-solving class in collaboration with New Balance Japan. With the aim of increasing sales of running products, the students listened to the voices of runners at the Imperial Palace and Yoyogi Park, researched other companies' products, and proposed product development and sales methods that would solve the problems unique to female runners. In the group work, emphasis was placed on being the starting point for discussion by expressing one's own opinions. While enjoying the diversity of viewpoints and opinions, I was also able to grow as a person by helping my peers. In my job search, I was offered a position as a hotel service crew member on a cruise ship, which was my first choice. Since I will be working in the office for the first year and a half after joining the company, I will be able to utilize the marketing skills I developed at Kanda Institute of Languages and the communication skills I developed through group work will be an advantage when building trust with customers and crew members. In English, my listening and speaking skills have improved, and I feel that even simple words can reach my thoughts; I have also begun studying Chinese in my second year, and will continue to improve my language skills so that I can respond to customers from all over the world.

What he pursued was English language skills and expertise that could be used around the world.
He is also close to obtaining his U.S. CPA license.

I entered Kanda Institute of Languages as a first-year student in the International Business Career Course. While in school, I wanted to acquire "highly specialized and versatile skills," so I studied the basics of finance, including financial accounting and bookkeeping, which can be used in companies around the world. In my English studies, I focused on speaking. In addition to repeated shadowing while watching foreign news with English subtitles, English classes taught by foreign teachers and an after-school exchange program with foreign students helped me to raise my TOEIC? score from the 400s to the 800s in my first year. On the other hand, he also participated in publicity activities for high school students. I was able to hone my interpersonal communication skills through repeated dialogues with students from other departments, high school students, and parents, and broadening my perspective through a wide range of experiences was also a major benefit. After graduation, she enrolled in her first year at Macquarie University in Australia to further enhance her expertise. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in "Applied Finance," I returned to Japan and am currently working for a foreign general consulting firm. I am in charge of the company's management accounting, and I also provide advice to ensure that the company is properly profitable while taking into consideration whether the accounting procedures are in accordance with accounting rules. Due to the international environment, I am exposed to a wide variety of English from all over the world. In addition, I have already completed some requirements to obtain my CPA license in the U.S., and my goal is to pass the exam by the end of 2024. In the future, I would like to challenge myself in financial accounting, auditing, and other work that looks at corporate figures from a different angle than management accounting.
