TOEIC? 930 points, Practical English Proficiency Test Level 1,
IT Passport

Along with his IT skills, his TOEIC? score was 930.
I am transferring to a university to start my own business.

I attended a Kanda Institute of Languages information session in a negative state after failing my university entrance exam, but to my surprise, I intuitively decided to enroll. What attracted me most was the small class size environment. Although I did not have a concrete vision for my future, my sense of expectation that I could grow and improve my English skills and expand my future possibilities was quickly heightened. After entering the school, I experienced creating flyers to promote the department and also created a website. My skills in design software and Office software improved, and I was also able to obtain qualifications such as IT Passport. As for English, I realized that my speaking and writing skills were weak, but I studied hard and my TOEIC? score rose to 930. From this experience, I began to think that in the future I would like to start a business and teach English to adults. After graduation, my goal is to transfer to a university, which I promised my parents I would do. I also took the "Transfer Examination Preparation Course," and my first choice of university has been decided. She would like to specialize in English education, and in the future, she would like to try her hand at teaching with the use of "ChatGPT" and other generative AI. Studying English and IT at Kanda Institute of Languages will greatly expand my future options. English skills alone are an advantage, but if you also have IT skills, I believe you will be an even more rare talent.

MESSAGE

Knowledge of data analysis and analytics is essential for marketing.
The experience here will definitely help you in any position.

I am a product manager for iOS app development at Rakuten TV, a video streaming service. My job is to determine what features should be added to the app in the future and how it should be improved. After graduating from Kanda Institute of Foreign Languages, I worked for domestic and international companies engaged in digital content distribution before joining Rakuten Group in 2020. In my current job, which has a marketing component, knowledge of data analysis and analysis is essential. I learned onsite while being taught by my seniors, but if you are going to work in the IT industry, I think it will be an advantage to acquire knowledge for handling quantitative and qualitative data while you are still a student. A product manager is like a hub that facilitates coordination with engineers, and good communication skills are required. There are many foreign nationals on the team, and communication is in English. I obtained a TOEIC? score of 920 when I was a student, but I sometimes feel that I am not strong enough in the business aspect. However, I can say that what I learned as a student was worthwhile in terms of developing my base English skills. The knowledge and experience I gained in the Digital Information Course will definitely be useful in whatever position I work in the future.
