Course Specialization Major Common Subjects Chinese grammar 2 2 The program is designed to acquire basic grammatical knowledge of the Chinese language and strengthen the four skills while automating their application.
Chinese Conversation 2 2 This course aims to improve basic communication skills while learning Chinese pronunciation and conversational expressions. Students will acquire a correct understanding of the meaning, connections, and usage of grammar commonly used in conversation. Students will also learn to listen carefully to others in Chinese conversation and to accurately understand what they want to say and how they feel.
Chinese Pronunciation Clinic 2 2 Students will practice pronunciation while learning the correct way to pronounce Chinese (Mandarin) and the characteristics of the mouth. Students will practice pronunciation repeatedly, paying particular attention to the correct pronunciation of Chinese characters according to pinyin, especially the accuracy of the four tones (tones of voice) and the rolled tongue sound.
Chinese Reading Comprehension Training 4 2 Students will learn the grammar and expressions necessary to accurately understand Chinese texts. Students will be trained to understand text content in a variety of fields and levels.
Chinese Language Proficiency Test Course 2 4 This course is designed to help students learn the basics of the Chinese language while developing the ability to prepare for various certification exams. Through repeated review, students will develop a stable ability.
Chinese Presentation 2 2 In order to develop smooth communication skills with others, students will gather information on a theme, summarize the contents, and give a presentation in Chinese that is easy for listeners to understand. Students will also develop cooperative and positive attitudes through individual and group presentations.
Chinese Discussion 2 2 This course trains participants to have their own opinions on various topics related to China and to be able to communicate smoothly. Participants will research a set theme and engage in discussions from the respective standpoints of Team A and Team B.
Chinese Academic Writing 4 Students will write compositions in Chinese on a variety of topics while learning upper-intermediate grammar and a large amount of vocabulary. Students will also learn translation techniques so that they can translate into a natural way of speaking.
Chinese Reading & Vocabulary 2 2 The goal is to improve reading skills by practicing reading comprehension skills such as skimming, scanning, and summarizing. In addition, students will increase their vocabulary through multiple readings and check their results in class.
East Asian Studies 2 2 Students will gain an understanding of East Asian culture beyond language, including history, customs, food, politics, economics, and religion. By deeply examining the relationship with Japan as well, we nurture human resources who can serve as bridges between the two countries.

Communication Strategies 10 10 8 8 In this class, students learn English from foreign teachers five times a week in the first year and four times a week in the second year. In two years, students learn from foreign teachers from various countries and are exposed to the different cultures and customs of each country and region. Classes are small, with no more than 20 students, and are organized according to proficiency level. Students will also have many speeches, discussions, and presentations to improve their ability to communicate in English.

TOEIC? (Test of English as a Foreign Language) TOEIC? Listening 4 4 2 2 This class is designed to improve TOEIC? scores required for job hunting and university transfer. In proficiency-based classes, students develop listening, vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension skills, while learning efficient response skills and time management methods. Vocabulary and grammar skills, the foundation of English proficiency, cannot be acquired overnight, so vocabulary and grammar quizzes will be given each class.
